MUMBAI: Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Earlier, Shrishti felt Jhanak should get punished and the family also agreed to her. Dadi also feels the culprit should be punished, and take her along. Chhoton asked the inspector to investigate the matter before taking her along with them.
Shrishti asks Chhoton to shut his mouth and not influence the inspector. Shubh and Lal also stop Choton. The inspector says Shrishti accused her of burning Arshi and trying to kill her, it's an attempt to murder case on her.
Now, the inspector takes Jhanak to the police station. Shrishti calls a lady police officer and accuses Jhanak of trying to burn Arshi and destroy her career. She should not spare. Jhanak gets questioned by a police inspector about the same. She refuses to accept the blame as she did not commit any mistake and they do not have any proof as far as she knows.
On the other hand, Anirudh comes to know about Jhanak’s arrest through Appu while he confirms through Anjana as well.
