MUMBAI: Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.
Currently, Jaideep becomes CAD director to torment Kavya in the academy and break her confidence. But Kavya stands determined to fulfil her goal of becoming IAS officer.

The story now takes an exciting turn when Adhiraj finds out that Kavya’s sister Navya was forced to commit suicide because of the fake medicine scandal in Basantkheri and Jaideep intentionally selected this village for their first project.
Thus, he executes his master plan to help Kavya reach Basantkheri at any cost as she wants to get justice for her sister. Adhiraj now becomes her partner-in-crime to help her in Basantkheri Mission and prove to the villagers that the doctors who were accused of the scandal were actually innocent.
However, Adhiraj’s own father Giriraj was the real mastermind behind this scandal.
