MUMBAI :Kumkum Bhagya is a popular show, and it is easy to see why. It appeals to those who believe that opposites attract, as well as those who believe in fate. Also, if fate brings two people together, they will stay together regardless of what happens. The show has frequently managed to gain the top position from the time of its inception, all thanks to the outstanding cast and gripping storyline. Fans are in awe of the chemistry between the lead couple Prachi and Ranbir played by Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul respectively.
Previously, Prachi comes home crying. As Dadi and Shahana open the door, they see Prachi crying. Shahana hugs Prachi and tries to ask her what’s wrong.
Later, as Prachi enters the house, in a crying tone she reveals that the party she just came from wasn’t a business party but was in fact Ranbir’s birthday.
Prachi further reveals that in the party Akshay proposed to her.Dadi and Shahana get shocked hearing this, having no idea about what’s coming next.
Prachi further informs that after Akshay’s proposal, Dida announced that Ranbir is going to marry Rhea.
Dadi and Shahana get shocked to the core after hearing this.
In tonight’s episode, Vikram tells Dida that the announcement was wrong and that he agrees with Pallavi.
Vikram further says that he has to go and handle his son now. However, before he can leave from there, Dida stops him and points out that he should not just value his wife’s opinion.
Dida opens up that she had to make the announcement. As Vikram and Pallavi look puzzled, Dida points out how Akshay and Prachi’s closeness bothered Ranbir so much that it upset him. Therefore, she had to announce his wedding with Rhea.
The twist in the tale here comes in when Rhea overhears the full conversation and gets upset. Rhea goes to Ranbir and asks him why he treats her like a band-aid. She further says that he cannot use her like a band-aid everytime he gets hurt.
Ranbir gets confused as he doesn’t understand what Rhea is trying to say. Rhea accuses Ranbir saying that he was the one who let Dida make the announcement because he wanted the attention which was stolen away by Akshay and Prachi. She further says that she is not going to marry him now.
Ranbir fails to make Rhea understand that it wasn’t his doing.
