MUMBAI : Star Plus has ventured into unexplored territory. Star Plus’s show Maati Se Bandhi Dor, stars Rutuja Bagwe and Ankit Gupta in lead roles. Rutuja Bagwe will be seen essaying the roles of Vaijanati (Vaiju) and Ankit Gupta to portray the character of Rannvijay in the show. Maati Se Bandhi Dor also delves into the complexities of relationships and the diversity of the local culture.

Vaiju is upset that Jaya's friend is always pursuing her and hurting her with her words and deeds.
Jaya tells Vaiju that he is unable to do anything with her and tells her to stay away from her friend.
When Jaya tells Vaiju that he must understand her friend and that everything should go as planned, the story takes an intriguing turn.
Vaiju warns her not to do so, saying that she is being influenced in the wrong way by the wrong person.
Vaiju lashes out at Jaya, accusing her of not understanding anything at all and hurting Rana with her actions.
