MUMBAI: The show is currently on a dramatic tangent. 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' is about a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan who falls in love while raising their his brother's son, Saaransh, together.
Preesha and Rudra have met after a five-year leap, but fate has a different plan for them
Saransh is unaware of Preesha being his mother.

Previously, we saw that Roohi falls off the bus and sustains serious injuries. Preesha also leaps to her feet when she notices this, and she is knocked out and hurt. Rudra also leaps out of the van and rushes over to them, panicking when he sees how badly they are hurt.
When the Inspector returns, he asks Rudra to drive them to the hospital while he goes for Bunty.
When Saransh arrives, he is surprised to see his mother, Preesha, alive. Rudra says he'll explain later and that he can take Preesha and Roohi to the hospital with him.
Bunty is angry that Ruhi and Preesha have escaped. Saransh is heartbroken that Rudra hid the truth of Preesha being alive from him. He confronts him about Ruhi being his sister, Rudra lies, and he is angry when the doctor asks a family member to song the consent form, he refuses to sign the form and calls Yuvraj instead.
In the upcoming episodes, we see that Saaransh tells Rudraksh that he married Preesha and that Ruhi is his daughter, so why is he acting so strangely? Ruhi is Yuvraj's daughter, not his, according to Rudraksh. He claims that Preesha deceived him and that he will not allow her into his life. Saaransh inquires if he will not also allow Preesha into his life.
Rudraksh is confused about why he can't seem to stay away from Ruhi, and his heart bleeds as he sees her in this state, so he sobs. He reflects on the times he spent with her. Preesha prays to God for Ruhi's safety at the hospital temple.
Bunty makes a promise to himself that he will not allow Rudraksh and Preesha to reunite. He tells the police inspector that he wants to speak with his lawyer, but instead, he dials Rudraksh's number. He informs him that Ruhi, not Yuvraj, is his daughter. He disconnects the phone after claiming that Preesha lied to keep Rudraksh away from Ruhi.
Rudraksh wonders how Preesha could deceive him about his daughter. Preesha arrives and requests that he donate blood to Ruhi. He instructs her to contact Yuvraj. She informs him that because he is Ruhi's father, his blood group will match hers.
Will Rudra ever forgive Preesha?
