MUMBAI: Colors show ‘Megha Barsenge’ sheds light on a newlywed bride, abandoned by her NRI dulha Manoj who is challenged with weathering the deceit and restoring her family's reputation. Amidst her struggle, she finds an unexpected ally in Arjun, an IAS officer who aids her quest to confront the elusive groom. Megha appears to be facing the greatest setback of her life as she is scheduled to serve a sentence of nearly five years in prison. Arjun is attempting to assist Megha in escaping, and things are getting rather unpleasant.
Megha unexpectedly manages to escape the jail, but sadly, the jailor shoots her. Arjun is not one to give up easy and would stop at nothing to get Megha back.
He would prepare Megha's fictitious passports and bring Megha to India when she is injured. The Khurrana family will be startled to find Megha in such terrible shape and fighting for her life.
Manoj meanwhile has no clue that Megha has come back to India and now his countdown has started.
