MUMBAI: Star Plus show Imlie has been extremely interesting and the audience has been in awe of the drama.
Produced by Gul Khan, it stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani. The series is a loose adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Ishti Kutum. The narrative revolves around how Aditya lands at a village to report on a gangster and later, situations lead him to get married to Imlie while he is already committed to Malini for marriage. Since he cannot handle the situation well, he ends up getting married to Malini too.
As we already reported, Aditya will want to clear all the confusion as he has strong doubts about Malini being upto no good and will tell Malini that he wants to get done with the divorce the next day so he can register his marriage with Imlie.
As the episodes proceed, it will be seen that Malini and Imlie will have a faceoff where Malini will say that she stole her husband from her and now she will do the same. Imlie will argue that she is his first wife and Malini will snap back saying that she had to clear this before her marriage with Aditya. She will put her foot down that she wants Aditya back in any condition.
The drama now showcases that he has realised his love for Imlie and wants to make things right. He wants to give Imlie the love and respect she deserves from him and the family.
In the episodes ahead, as we already know, Malini is trying to win back her love for Aditya and get back her rights. Malini has started pulling off tricks to throw Imlie out of Aditya’s life.
