In the previous episode, Mannu comes home with his shirt torn and a few marks on his skin. Everyone in the family is concerned about him and ask him about his condition. Mannu ducks the questions by lying that his shirt got torn while coming back home by a rickshaw, but his lie clearly does not match well with how his shirt looks and the way the marks appear. Later, Shweta comes to Mannu's room to return his wallet that he left in the darkroom. Gargi becomes suspicious.
In the upcoming episode, Mannu wakes up in the middle of the night and goes to the kitchen. He grabs a sharp knife and heads to Shweta's bedroom. Shweta feels pleased to see Mannu at her doorstep in the middle of the night but to her shock, Mannu slits her throat!
