MUMBAI: Colors TV is back with another promising show called Sherdil Shergill. The show stars Surbhi Chandna and Dheeraj Dhoopar in lead roles. It is a modern-day love story between the leads and has an intriguing and progressive plot. Manmeet is an unmarried mother to her son, Anmol and later finds a partner in Raj.

The show seems to have a promising plot.

Previously, Manmeet entered the kitchen with Nirali. Nirali had other intentions in mind while bringing Manmeet into the kitchen.

We know that Manmeet is ambitious and doesn’t accept conventional notions and expectations that the society has from women. However, it seems like her principles will clash with Nirali’s pre-established notions as to what a daughter-in-law’s duties comprise of.

Nirali asks Brijesh to help out Manmeet in the kitchen and states that it will now be on Manmeet’s shoulders to take care of the kitchen, the household and the people.

Now, Manmeet asks Raj to focus on work so she can relax and maintain her attention on some domestic work, so she doesn’t upset Amma ji.

However, even though Raj agrees, he doesn’t seem eager to leave Manmeet behind and when Manmeet tries to free herself Raj accuses her of having a low LQ i.e Love Quotient.

Manmeet takes offence to this and proves that she is not low on love and romance.

How did Manmeet prove that?
