MUMBAI: Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey premiered on Sony SAB and it is a follow-up to Doordarshan's Wagle Ki Duniya. It is based on characters drawn by renowned cartoonist R. K. Laxman, focusing on the problems faced by the average Indian middle-class man. The show features Pariva Pranati, Anjan Srivastav, Bharati Achrekar, Sheehan Kapahi, Sumeet Raghavan, and Chinmayee Salvi.
Earlier, Atharva’s lie to his friends forces him to seek help from Rajesh who tries his best to cover up Atharva's lie but things get chaotic when everyone at his office accuses him of stealing 5 lakhs. Nick and Kiara allege that Rajesh took the missing 5 lakh rupees from P2P Max due to his lottery ticket addiction.
As we know that Shrinivas owes someone money and Rajesh needs to pay it back but things get complicated when a young boy shows up in the Sai Darshan Society claiming to be his son. Everyone judge Rajesh for it.
Later, the matters get worse for Rajesh as Sakhi demands a DNA test to confirm if Rajesh is Mandar's father.
When Atharva feels unwell, the Wagle family dismisses it thinking it’s nothing but now everyone is shocked by Atharva's health condition.
