MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Chahatein is a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising his brother’s son, Saransh, together.
The show is gearing up for some major twists and turns.

In the previous episode, Preesha catches Rakesh red-handed as he comes to the lab to get his hands on the DNA samples.
Rakesh tells him that it doesn’t matter if she knows the truth because she doesn’t have any evidence against him.
Preesha tells him that she met Budhiya’s wife who told her the whole truth and is also ready to be a witness in the court.
Rakesh doesn’t get affected by it and tells her that it doesn’t matter if Budhiya’s wife tells the truth in court as it’s not that easy to prove him a criminal just based on someone's testimony.
Rakesh asks Preesha what evidence does Budhiya's wife have to prove that he paid Budhiya to kill Nalini.
Rakesh will gloat about the fact that no one will ever doubt him as there is no one who actually saw him killing Dev and the one person who knew this truth is no more.
Preesha tells him that Nalini maybe dead to him but not the world and calls for her; Rakesh is left shocked to see Nalini alive.
In the upcoming episode, Nalini exposes Rakesh, revealing how and why he killed Dev.
Nalini reveals that Dev had seen Rakesh spending time with her, behind Revati and his family's back, that he was out for business.
Dev was out with his friends when he saw Rakesh with Nalini. He told his friends to go home by taxi and then called Rakesh.
He asked Rakesh where he was and Rakesh lied to him saying that he was in Mumbai for some business meeting.
Dev had decided that he was going to make profit now by blackmailing his father.
Nalini tells Preesha that the next day Rakesh came home and Revati left for work, Dev was right there, ready to blackmail him.
Dev revealed to Rakesh that he knows everything about his affair and then even showed him the pictures that he had taken.
Rakesh was shocked and Dev told him that he is going to Revati and tell everything, which meant that he would lose Revati and the elections too.
Rakesh got afraid and asked him what he wanted. That’s when Dev’s demands started and he came to know that he has Rakesh in his control.
Dev asked for 1 lac and Rakesh even agreed but Dev however, didn’t stop there as he knew that his dad is now his ATM machine.
He kept coming back to Rakesh for money but one day he made a big mistake.
One day, Dev asked for double money and later in the hallway he misbehaved with Nalini. Nalini slapped him and Dev crossed his limits. When Rakesh saw this, he slapped Dev. Dev got furious and decided to tell the truth to Revati.
Later, Rakesh had gone to the hospital to meet Dev where he again blackmailed Rakesh to a point where he actually got up and left to tell the truth.
Rakesh was scared and wanted to stop him from telling the truth to Revati but he could not enter the school premises on the day of Annual Function as he had lied to Revati that he was out for some business meeting.
Later, he saw Dev injured on the floor and took the opportunity to kill him.
Rakesh tells Preesha that he had to kill Dev because he was wasting his money and was ready to destroy his image and career in public.
