MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Chahatein is a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising his brother’s son, Saransh, together.
The show is gearing up for some major drama.
In the previous episode, Preesha catches Rakesh red-handed as he comes to the lab to get his hands on the DNA samples.
Rakesh tells him that it doesn’t matter if she knows the truth because she doesn’t have any evidence against him.
Preesha tells him that she met Budhiya’s wife who told her the whole truth and is also ready to be a witness in the court.
Rakesh doesn’t get affected by it and tells her that it doesn’t matter if Budhiya’s wife tells the truth in court as it’s not that easy to prove him a criminal just based on someone's testimony.
Rakesh asks Preesha what evidence does Budhiya's wife have to prove that he paid Budhiya to kill Nalini.
Rakesh will gloat about the fact that no one will ever doubt him as there is no one who actually saw him killing Dev and the one person who knew this truth is no more.
Preesha tells him that Nalini maybe dead to him but not the world and calls for her; Rakesh is left shocked to see Nalini alive.

In the upcoming episode, Rakesh gets shocked seeing Nalini alive and is baffled by the same.
Preesha tells him that she lied to the media and told them that she is dead so that Rakesh would come to the hospita,l to clear all the evidence.
Later, Preesha says that it was either Rakesh or Nalini who killed Dev. She will even show the coat's button as proof and says that the coat was with Nalini.
Rakesh takes advantage of the situation and puts the blame on Nalini but it doesn’t work for him as Nalini tells Preesha the whole truth about why Rakesh wanted to kill Dev.
Rakesh furiously tries to stop Nalini but she doesn't budge and spills the whole truth as otherwise she'd be convicted for the murder.
Nalini reveals that Rakesh killed his own son Dev, because he had seen her and Rakesh together.
Rakesh gets furious hearing the truth.
