MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running TV show. Abhimanyu and Akshara are winning hearts with their romance. Harshad Chopda plays Abhimanyu while Pranali Rathod portrays the character of Akshara. The show has been high on drama for a long time now and soon will gear up for a leap.

When Akshara will see Kunal outside the Operation theatre she will get anxious.
She will go and request him to treat Abhimanyu as time is passing by but Kunal will be deep in thoughts, where he will reveal that he has a sister Maya who is just like her and also loves singing.
He also states that due to him she cannot sing any longer.
Kunal will talk about the tragedy in his life and how his last operation was on Maya which was not successful andwhich resulted in Maya losing her voice forever.
This is the reason why Kunal stopped his medical career many years back.
