It was earlier seen that Vedika had married Kartik when Naira was assumed to be dead.
Vedika used to love Kartik and also turned a dutiful daughter in law.
Furthermore, Vedika also knows Kairav well where he used to call her Devika aunty.
Kairav was unaware of the fact that Vedika and Kartik were married.
