There is not an iota of doubt that over the top drama sells on television. No wonder producer Rajan Shahi (Director’s Kut) resorted to this age old tactic of getting a major character Nimrit played by Dimple Jhangiani killed in his Life OK show, Amrit Manthan. The rising TRP numbers (1.5 TVR) of the show post Dimple’s exit (now number two ranked soap on the channel) reiterates the above mentioned observation.

Director’s Kut’s Amrit Manthan on Life OK will see a new twist in the coming episodes with Agam (Navi Banghu) and Nimrit (Ankita Sharma) getting drawn towards each other by circumstances. All begins when Nimrit in a quest to save a couple gets into a problem which results in some goons kidnapping her. Agam who happens to be there takes desperate measures to save Nimrit aka Natasha.

We know Ankita Sharma as a talented actor who is presently essaying the lead’s role in Life OK’s Amrit Manthan, produced by Director’s Kut. However, not many know that besides being a good actor she is also a budding writer. Talking about her writing skills, Ankita tells us, “I write poems and stories, mainly the romantic ones. Currently I am writing a story; once I complete it I plan to sell the concept to a TV channel or a film producer.”

Princess Nimrit (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ankita-sharma-thanks-stars-spike-amrit-manthans-ratings>Ankita Sharma</a>), who plays Natasha is not leaving any stone unturned to disgrace Princess Amrit (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/adaa-khan-aka-amrit-not-happy-her-role-amrit-manthan>Adaa Khan</a>) in front of the family.

Directors Kut Production’s Amrit Manthan on Life OK was under the scanner a few weeks ago. Therefore the makers were forced to introduce a new track in which Nimrit was killed that led to the exit of Dimple Jhangiani and the entry of Ankita Sharma as Nimrit. And it seems that the change has worked out for the show as the series is thereafter seeing a consistent rise in TRPs.

It’s just a couple of weeks since Rajan Shahi’s show Amrit Manthan saw a change in the lead. Ankita Sharma stepped in as Nimrit, a role that was previously played by Dimple Jhangiani.
