Ankita Sharma is a budding writer...

We know Ankita Sharma as a talented actor who is presently essaying the lead’s role in Life OK’s Amrit Manthan, produced by Director’s Kut. However, not many know that besides being a good actor she is also a budding writer. Talking about her writing skills, Ankita tells us, “I write poems and stories, mainly the romantic ones. Currently I am writing a story; once I complete it I plan to sell the concept to a TV channel or a film producer.” Ankita reveals that she is unhappy with the current portrayal of love on the big screen. “Gone are the days of innocent love which would be expressed through the eyes. Nowadays vulgarity sells.” Normally most writers are prolific readers and they get inspiration from reading the works of greats . But Ankita seems to be a different kettle of fish and she says, “I don’t like to read; I don’t even prefer to glance through my scripts.” However, the girl has promised to send us one of her poems which we will share with you as soon as she gets time to glance through her diary.
