As reported earlier Sony TV’s upcoming show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/annu-kapur-return-soaps>Metti Oli</a> is a story about five daughters who stay with their father after their mother passed away. it is the remake of a Tamil show which was later even made in Malayalam and Telugu. The show is an emotion packed drama about the love of a father for his daughters. The Tamil version has been the longest version till date. The popularity of the show in all the three versions has led to the Hindi remake.

Annu Kapoor, the host of NDTV Imagine’s <em> Junoon Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka </em> has changed his styling for the show. And all the credit goes to his wife, Anupama. It is for the first time that his wife has styled his look. “We shopped for my clothes in Milan. It was my wife’s idea to buy stuff from there keeping in mind the latest trends,” says Annu. “I brought some Italian shoes from Milan also to go with my attire. All of the shopping is done by my wife, it’s her choice of clothes and accessories,” adds the host

Come February, Star One's highly publicized show, <em> Antakshari - The Great Challenge</em> goes on air. And co-anchoring this musical along with veteran host Annu Kapoor is <em>Kkumkum</em> famed Juhi Parmar, for whom this will be a novel experience. When asked about this new avatar, an elated Juhi says, "I am taking up something different from what I've been doing till now. At the moment I'm totally preparing for it. The production house has set in place a training course and I am being coached under Pandit Satyanarayan Murthy to understand the finer nuances of music."

Zee TV's <em>Antakshari</em> bid adieu for a short time to its viewers. The show had a successful stint of 12 long years and this is the first time that Zee TV has decided to give the show a break and bring it back after sometime. <em>Antakshari</em> announced the break at a gala event attended by the entire music, films and TV fraternity. While the show is on a break to come back revamped, it is speculated that Annu Kapoor may not be a part of the revamped show.

But Annu Kapoor's other baby, a musical show that's been running for one and a half years on Pakistan's Geo channel, has run into rough weather. <em>Gayegi Duniya Geet Mere</em>, a daily show that had Annu holding forth on different musical legends from the subcontinent, has been one of the actor's pet projects for a long while. Financial constraints on part of the channel have forced the temporary closure of the show, reveals a saddened Annu.
