Balika Vadhu 2 has become a household name for the viewers and has become much buzz since the news about the leap was out.

Everyone has a wish to work in the industry and see themselves in posters and hoardings. When YUDKBH happened I had the same expectations but things turned out different as its release got preponed and we didn't have time to do something for its promotions. It felt crashing down.

I am sure everyone is under pressure, the show is a brand name. One of the main reasons why I agreed to the show is that Balika Vadhu is a cult show.

Now that the news of the leap is out we will be seeing Randeep Rai as Anand, Shivangi Joshi as Anandi, and Samridh Bawa as Jigar in the show.

I was sure that I wouldn't fit in the character then. I informed the makers that if the leap is happening soon then I would like to quit the show. The journey has been amazing but this is an end to it.

I am thankful that our producers Mr Sunjoy Waddhwa, Mrs Comall Sunjoy Waddhwa and the channel chose me for the portrayal of the key part in the second season of this iconic show.
