Zee Bangla's ‘Bijoyar Baithak’ will see veteran musician Bappi Lahiri as guest. He will sing some of the popular songs in the show.

She’s been on the verge of stepping into filmdom. First in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ali-mercchant-heads-lonavala-his-birthday-party>Ali Mercchant</a>’s film which has to yet see the light of day. Then in some or the other feature which did not happen.

Fans of Disney’s popular show, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/red-chillies-idiot-box-back-ishaan>Ishaan</a>, will soon get to meet the original ‘King of Disco’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/bappi-s-sona-makes-stage-rona>Bappi Lahiri</a>. It would be his first appearance playing a fictitious character in a TV series. Bappi<em>da</em> will be seen as the ‘<em>Maharaja</em> of Disco Land’, who decides to crown the ‘Yaari’ band as ‘The future of Disco’. In addition to the special appearance, he will also record an original track titled D.I.S.C.O for the show.

<em> Sa Re Ga Ma Pa</em> is left with very few contestants and now the competition stiffens. The latest to be evicted from the show is Sniti Mishra from Orissa. A source says, “Sniti from Daler Mehndi’s group will be evicted this week. Everyone is shocked with the decision because Sniti was always considered to be one of the top contenders by the judges as well. She had also bagged the maximum votes a number of times on the show. Bappi Lahiri will be the special guest this week. The judges and the contestants were super excited to meet him. <em> ‘Disco’</em> is the theme this week.”

The judges said that she has the perfect voice but our Junta didn't deem Sumedha Karmahe fit to win the singing competition. The pretty girl from Chhattisgarh was eliminated from the <em> pratham yudh</em> last night. Despite another brilliant performance, the odds were heavily stacked against Sumedha after she was pitted against junta's beloved Poonam Yadav in the danger zone. So, did the sympathy vote for Poonam turn the tide against her?
