<strong>A page from the personal diary of Parul Chauhan</strong> Whenever I look at the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, I am reminded of my childhood and how my life has changed over the years. I spent my childhood in Lakhimur Kheri – the largest district in Uttar Pradesh and had a very simple living. My father was a government employee in Uttar Pradesh and we come from a very middle class family. I stayed there till I completed my plus two, after which I wanted to move to a big town to study engineering.

Bidaai fetches a TRP of 8.69

The New Year has ushered in more success for Rajan Shahi's <em>Bidaai</em> with the show scaling new heights on the TRP chart. Not only does <em>Bidaai</em> continue to be the number one show but in the latest TAM ratings, it has touched an all-time high TRP of 8.69 on 30 December, 2008.

Eva Grover to enter in Bidaai

In keeping with its tradition to rope in actors for cameo roles, Rajan Shahi’s <em>Bidaai</em> will now see a cameo from actor Eva Grover. In the past, the show has had as many as 15 actors playing cameos (Mahesh Thakur, Manish Raisinghania, Rucha Gujrati, Neeta Shetty, Vishal Singh and Rajesh Khattar).

Bidaai retains the numero uno position

It is the simplicity of the show and the appealing track of<em> Bidaai</em> that has help sustain its premium position. Even the strike hasn’t affected the viewership and the show touched a TRP of 7.3. In fact on Thursday, 11th Dec the show reached its tent pole peak with TRPs soaring to 8.

After the runaway success of his maiden show <em> Bidaai </em>, producer Rajan Shahi is in the hot seat. And more so when he is on the verge of announcing his second show. Bidaai is now an hour long

Rajan Shahi’s hit show <em> Bidaai </em> which was a half an hour daily is going to be an hour daily starting 13 October. The show will air from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Star Plus. Currently <em> Bidaai</em> and <em>Kasturi </em> air at 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm respectively.

Manish Naggdev to enter Bidaai

Manish Naggdev who shot to fame as Chinu in <em> Dulhann </em> is all set to make a cameo appearance in Star Plus' <em> Bidaai</em>. The actor will get married to Parul Chauhan aka Ragini who is in love with Kinshuk Mahajan who plays Ranbir Rajvansh. A well-placed source informs, "Manish will be introduced in the show opposite Ragini and his family will reportedly approach Ragini's family with a marriage proposal. He will start shooting from the 27th of this month and his entry will be aired a week later. This will be a love triangle"

Star Plus’ numero uno show <em> Bidaai</em> has turned full circle. The show which began against the background of the most romantic place in the world-Agra has once again returned to the city of love.<em> Bidaai </em> is currently shooting in Agra at the Taj Mahal for a romantic track between Ranbir Rajvansh (Kinshuk Mahajan) and Ragini (Parul Chuahan).
