The New Year has ushered in more success for Rajan Shahi's Bidaai with the show scaling new heights on the TRP chart. Not only does Bidaai continue to be the number one show but in the latest TAM ratings, it has touched an all-time high TRP of 8.69 on 30 December, 2008.
An elated producer Rajan Shahi says, "The TRPs of the show on Monday was 8.16 and on Tuesday it registered the highest TRP of 8.69. In the following days, it recorded TRP of 7.65 and 8.49 respectively. Thus, Bidaai has registered an average TRP of 8.2 which is the highest ever for any show in recent times."
Not afraid to reveal his success formula, the producer enunciates, "I will like to point out four things that have worked in our favour. Firstly, it is God's grace which really has helped the show run smoothly. I think there is no particular formula or principle which one can use to make a successful show. Along with the divine blessings, it is the positive energy of all the people working on the show. Secondly, the show focuses on the content and the characters of the show. The characters have become stronger than the faces and the viewers have got attached to all of them."
Rajan continues, "Thirdly, it's the entire team that is working so hard to make it a success. The cast has been selected accordingly to fit the characters. Fourth and the foremost point is the simplicity in the presentation of the show. The amalgamation is just perfect and no aspect of the show outperforms one other."
With another show (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) coming out from Rajan's kitty, expect Director's Kut to hit the jackpot yet again.
