Colors and Endemol India will regret having made an offer to Republican Party of India (RPI) president Ramdas Athawale. As reported yesterday, RPI activists have gathered outside <em> Bigg Boss </em> house in Lonavala. Well, it’s not an apology that they seek but RPI is demanding contestant Monica Bedi’s immediate ouster from the <em> Bigg Boss</em> house.

Republican Party of India plan to carry forward their agitation against <em> Bigg Boss</em> all the way to Lonavala. News has it that they will agitate outside the <em> Bigg Boss</em> house in Lonavala on Friday. Tomorrow is the day of eviction and as always it attracts attention with the presence of the media in large numbers. Fearing that things could go out of hand, the channel has decided to cancel the press meet.

We’re almost in the second week of<em> Bigg Boss</em> and so far it’s been full of fun, drama and now there’ll be some tears too. Rakhi, Rahul, Ketki, Raja, Ehsaan and Alina are called in the confession room where each one of them pour their hearts out to<em> Bigg Boss</em>. Some of them even cry and complain about politics being played by certain inmates. Payal Rohatgi and Rahul are involved in a conversation where the former tries convincing Rahul that Rakhi is adopting double standards and continues to play politics.

There’ll be some celebration tonight on <em>Bigg Boss</em>. Though they may be under house arrest, the inmates celebrate the festival of <em> Janmashtami</em>. While there is no<em> dahi handi</em>, viewers will get to see Krishna and Radha.

If you’re the<em> Bigg Boss</em> then you hold the right to hire and fire. First it was Faisal Khan, then Jhanvi Kapoor and now actor-singer Sherlyn Chopra has borne the brunt of <em> Bigg Boss</em>. As per reports, Sherlyn was dumped for making ambitious demands. Reportedly, Sherlyn demanded that cameras be fitted in shower rooms. The item girl was open to the idea of letting the world see her bathe in a bikini. She’s alleged to have demanded Rs.3 crore for her appearance.

Endemol’s <em> Bigg Boss</em> which is slated to air from 17 August on Colors turns out to be nothing less than a soap opera. After making headlines for having accepted the show, Faisal Khan is reported to be out of the show even before the launch. Yet another inmate who has been shown the door after allegedly having been finalised is Jhanvi Kapoor. It is also alleged that miffed with the outcome Faisal and Jhanvi have decided to take legal recourse. Jhanvi has even lodged a complaint against Colors (channel) and Endemol (production house) at Oshiwara police station.

After <em> Bigg Boss </em> got over last year, most of the participants got back to work thanks to <em> Bigg Boss </em> that helped resurrect their careers. The show did help them get more offers. But one actress who faded into oblivion post the show was Anupama Verma. One did not see much of her on TV or in movies.

The Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kissen has become a household name after participating in <em>Bigg Boss</em>. The show however has ended but Ravi is all set to come back with his own reality show very soon. "I'll be hosting and producing a new show called <em> Mati Ke Lal</em>. Things are still in the very initial stages so I can't reveal much," says Ravi. He also has his own production house called Mahadev Production.
