Piku Sharma, who made her debut last year with Sunil Agnihotri’s Chandramukhi , has been shown the exit door. This move comes as a surprise especially with the show doing exceedingly well on Doordarshan.
Chandramukhi director and producer, Sunil Agnihotri says, “Her starry attitude has cost her dearly. There were no issues with me but I was receiving lot of complaints about her from other team members. We reached a stage where other actors too weren’t comfortable working with her. Unfortunately, I was left with no option but to replace her.”

One doesn’t perfect horse riding without having a fall. Sachin Khurana aka Vanraj of Chandramukhi fame experienced one such fall but it had nothing to do with his horse riding.
Sachin was shooting for this show at Mahableshwar. It started to rain as he was riding his horse. Seeing that Sachin was all drenched his driver ran towards him with an umbrella. As his driver opened the umbrella, the horse panicked and started to romp and jump. Unable to control his horse, Sachin fell to the ground.

Legend has it that some of the most beautiful women, mainly princesses, hailed from India. During the colonial era, a British officer was lost for words, and his senses too, at the sight of an Indian queen. In 2007, there's no monarchy or colonialism, but India still boasts of the most gorgeous women in the world.
A new queen on Indian television is set to capture your heart and soul. She is Assam's Piku Sharma, who plays Princess Chandramukhi. The hour long weekly goes on air from Tuesday, October 30th at 10.pm on DD1.
