MUMBAI: Chennai lit up with music and celebration as ‘Jinguchaa’, the first single from Kamal Haasan starring Thug Life—the upcoming film directed by legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam—was launched at Kalaivanar Arangam. Unveiled by cinematic icons Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and A.R. Rahman, with stalwarts Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Joju George, and Ashok Selvan in attendance, the event marked the beginning of a bold new chapter in Indian cinema.

Set against the backdrop of a pulsating wedding celebration, ‘Jinguchaa’ features Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR dancing to a track that is quintessential Rahman—where earthy folk rhythms meet contemporary flair. The Thug Life team also announced the Thug Life Festival, in collaboration with Just Grow Productions, to be held in Sydney, Australia on Friday, May 23rd, where A.R. Rahman will be performing.
