Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin
Sony Entertainment Television, which is in the process of a major revamp in its programming lineup, will soon be launching its long talked about show, <em>Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao</em>, a show to be produced by UTV. The show will come close on the heels of a new array of shows like <em>Thode Khushi Thodi Gham</em> and <em>Aisa Des Hain Mera</em>. The serial which was about to go on air in January, is now scheduled for May and will in all likelihood, fit the afternoon slot.

Nausheen Alii Sardar who is currently doing two films <em>Marathon</em> opposite Bikram Saluja and a songless flick <em>Vassh</em> opposite Lucky Ali, is all set to feature in a music video.
The actor has shot for a song sung by Alisha Chinai for the animated film, Krishna. The video has been directed by Aman Khan and produced by Amit Chedda.

Vikas Bhalla's music career may not be going anywhere, but his television graph is definitely on an upward curve.
With <em>Shanno ki Shaadi</em> and <em>Kasme Vaade</em> under his belt, the hunk is also set to return to the show that he was seen in post Zee's <em>Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em>. Vikas, till a few months ago, played CJ, Poorab's friend, who was responsible for being caught in the clinch that cost Jassi her marriage with Armaan.

Rajan Shahi, the director of Sony's driver show, <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em> has decided to bid goodbye to the show. He will now direct the Sunjoy Wadhwa show on Zee, <em>Saat Phere.</em>
Rajan, who directs <em>Miilee</em> on Star Plus, will be directing the Zee show from this week. "Well, lt was decided at the ouset that I would do a certain phase of <em>Jassi</em>...and then take over Tony-Deeya's next show on Zee," says Rajan, who is very impressed with Rajshree Thakur, the actress who plays Saloni in <em>Saat Phere</em>.

If one was to put it in the lingua franca of office, Sameer Soni has put in his papers at Tony Singh's desk. Plainly put, Soni has made it clear to the producers of Sony's <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em> that he wants to quit the show.

She hasn't been around in Sony's <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em> for quite some time now, but Sony has compensated her with another show from their stable.
Maninee will now be seen in <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em> produced by Optimystix.Says Maninee, "My character's name is Bubbles. It's a Panju girl who is a bit over the top, very lively and chirpy. Bubbles will be from Ludhiana. She goes to London and then comes to Mumbai."

Parmeet Sethi wants to opt out of <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em>! Reason? Sethi is not taking kindly to the money he is being paid.
At the <em>Jassi</em>... ramp show in J W Marriot, speaking on the sidelines, Sethi expressed his disappoointment. "I am not getting enough out here. I am getting much more on Star Plus (<em>Kyunki</em>...). I am getting a good amount on Sahara (<em>Ruby Duby Hub Dub</em>) and Zee (<em>Astitva</em>). So naturally, I feel that I should be paid on similar level in this show as well."

The story was coming to a logical conclusion. But still, people are watching. So why end it? That's always how Indian television has functioned. Sony's <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em> will not be an exception.
Sony has given a year's extension to the show.Confirming the same, producer Deeya Singh says, "I am very happy. We expected an extension, but the feeling after getting it is entirely different."
