Janhvi Kapoor wants female versions of 'Kabir Singh', 'Joker'

It was Shirish Kunder who volunteered to opt out of Kick. And it was decided by mutual consent that the matter would be kept under wraps until the release of Kunder’s calamitous <em>Joker</em>. But Kunder texted to Salman immediately after the meeting with Nadiadwala informing the star that he is no more a part of <em>Kick</em>. Salman in turn, got in touch with Nadiadwala. And the rest is hysteria. One got that not from Kunder or his irate wife Farah Khan, but from a source very close to Nadiadwala.

In the ongoing cold war between Akshay Kumar and Shirish Kunder , the single-most squirmy sufferer is Sonakshi Sinha who doesn’t know which way to move, go all out to promote <em>Joker</em> or stand by the stubborn and unrelenting Akshay Kumar who has decided to boycott all promotional activities related to the film.

Ardent fans of Farah Khan are eagerly waiting to see her opposite Boman Irani in her acting debut film Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi that releases on 24 August. But little does one know that the reputed dance director will see in a cameo in her husband Shirish Kunder's film Joker starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha that will release on 31 August. It is being said that it is in <em>Joker</em>, that Farah made her acting debut but it’s just that the Bela Sehgal film is releasing before that of Kunder.

Giving a new dimension to film promotions, UTV-Disney, the producers of the Shirish Kunder-directed <em>Joker</em>, UTV Disney are mulling with the idea of screening the film 230 miles above the earth at the International Space Station (ISS). It is being said that the producers plan to screen Joker on the space station on 1 September 2012.

UTV Motion Pictures has announced the release dates of three of its big-ticket films. While the Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Joker will release on 31 August, the Anurag Basu-directed film Barfi! will release on 14 September. These will be followed by Madhur Bhandarkar-helmed Kareena Kapoor-starrer Heroine on 21 September (2012).
