Giving a new dimension to film promotions, UTV-Disney, the producers of the Shirish Kunder-directed Joker, UTV Disney are mulling with the idea of screening the film 230 miles above the earth at the International Space Station (ISS). It is being said that the producers plan to screen Joker on the space station on 1 September 2012.
Accordingly, the filmmakers are in talks with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to work out the logistics to screen the film at the space station for astronaut Sunita Williams. The Indian-American is now on her second expedition of space along with two others.
When asked to comment on the same, a source in UTV-Disney desisted to comment while confirming the news.
Joker involves a mysterious town called Pagalpur, a UFO from space and a NASA scientist played by Akshay Kumar.
The film releases worldwide on 31 August 2012.
