We had earlier reported that Star Plus’ next big ticket show, tentatively titled Music Premier League, being produced by Gajendrra Siingh’s Saibaba Telefilms is to hit airwaves in December. More info flowing in is that the show is now titled <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/music-biggies-star-plus-reality-show>Music Ka Mahamuqabla</a></em>. And for this weekend musical reality show, the stage is set for six teams comprising of talented singers; be it winners, runners up and promising singers across the channels.

"Karunya should have won!"

Though underdog Sandeep Acharya walked home with the title of <em>Indian Idol 2</em> on Saturday, judges and some of the audience had anticipated NC Karunya to win the battle. So, the judges were surprised, some viewers were flummoxed. And who else is part of the brigade too stunned to react? The top three of the first season-<em>Indian Idol</em>, that's who. Telly Chakkar spoke to the finalists of last year to check what they had to say. Karunya tops the list!

Idol finalists rock Delhi!

Anuj, Karunya and Sandeep arrived at New Delhi airport on 22 March, only to be flocked with fans begging for autographs and pictures with the new stars on the block. The three finalists spent an unforgettable afternoon jamming with Indian Ocean, the Delhi based Rock band who have taken the country by storm with their unusual Indi-Rock albums. The Idols then went on to perform at the three biggest and the most happening joints of Delhi, where Delhiwallas got a once in a lifetime chance to interact with the contestants.
