RJ Mantra, Mini Mathur and Rehman Khan are also celebrating their birthdays today. RJ Mantra who tickled the funny bone of viewers in <em>Comedy Circus</em> (Sony Entertainment Television) has turned 30 this year.

Today, on the 67th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we need to call an end to the nuclear experiment. At 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 6, 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, killing around 140,000 people. The death toll included men, women and children who died instantaneously, and thousands who died within months from the lingering radiation sickness. The U.S. attack on Nagasaki three days later took the lives of 75,000 more.

The show is titled ‘<em>Sports ke Superstar</em>’ and will be aired on Doordarshan. It is being produced by Siddhartha Basu’s Synergy Productions. “The show is a precursor to the Commonwealth Games and is to be shot in Delhi,” says Anita Basu of Synergy Productions.

As the guessing game begins on who will host Sony’s upcoming reality show Tellychakkar throws some light on it. The show which is inspired by ITV’s <em>I’m a celebrity… get me out of here</em> will be hosted by none other than the charming Mini Mathur who is by far one of the best hosts on Indian television. And to give the beautiful Mini company is the handsome Hussain Kuwajerwala who is tipped to co-host the show.

There is a twist in the news. Mini Mathur, who has been hosting every season of <em> Indian Idol</em>, had opted out of<em> Indian Idol 4 </em> as she was pregnant with her second child. But now, things seem to be different. The charming Mini is tipped to host the baap of all reality shows, <em> Indian Idol 4</em>.

She’s been the voice of <em> Indian Idol</em>, having hosted the show’s first three editions but Mini Mathur-Khan will not be returning for the fourth season. Confirming this news Mini says “Yes, it’s true that I’m unlikely to host <em>Indian Idol 4</em>. However, I will definitely return for the fifth season.” When asked for her reason to refuse <em> Indian Idol 4</em>, Mini says “I’m not doing the show for personal reasons.”

The <em>Indian Idol,</em> judges and anchors have been busy travelling around the country looking for the right kind of contestants. Mini is making headlines again! The lady who's known for her anchoring skills has opted out of the spicy show <em><em>Popkorn</em></em> on Zoom. We had recently reported that Mini would be the host of Sahara One's <em>Sirf Ek Minute Mein</em> earlier known as Dial One. Mini Mathur will only take work she can handle until Indian Idol III Mini had been on <em><em>Popkorn</em></em> for more than a year and was the co-anchor with Shonali Nagrani.

She's gearing up again to do what she does best. Mini Mathur will host<em> Pogo Amazing Kids Awards</em> to be produced by Miditech and is likely to hit the tube in October. The show will be on the lines of<em> Amazing Kids</em> with some alterations in the format.
