Sphere Origins’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/phir-subah-hogis-maha-sangam-thursday-pavitra-rishta>Phir Subah Hogi</a>, on Zee TV, is currently going through some interesting twists and turns.

Tellychakkar.com recently reported about Thakur Vikram Singh (Varun Badola) taking the major step of stopping Sugni (Gulki Joshi) and Gulabiya (Narayani Shastri) from going to the city in IMRC Entertainment’s Phir Subah Hogi on Zee TV. Later, Sugni got employed as the driver in Thakur’s household.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/big-switch-katrina-narayani>Narayani Shastri</a>, who is back to fiction genre on TV after a gap of two years with Zee TV‘s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/slideshow/launch-zee-tvs-phir-subah-hogi>Phir Subah Hogi</a>, does not like her return to be tagged as a “comeback”, “for she was always around doing non-fiction shows like a contestant on <em>Zor Ka Jhatka</em> and two sporadic episodes of <em>Meethi Choori No 1</em>.”

The sexy and svelte Katrina Kaif was all set to make an appearance in Bindass’ Big Switch, a show about 10 rich contestants who have to give up their luxurious life-style and live in a slum. Kaif was invited by the channel to be a part of their slum clean-up drive but the actress had to back out at the nth hour due to her health woes. According to sources from the channel, Kaif has informed the channel of her inability to fulfill the commitment due to health issues. The channel had now roped in actress Narayani Shastri and Shonali Nagrani to up the glam quotient.

Even as speculation over probable inmates of Bigg Boss 3 continues, one is getting to read tales of celebs who’ve turned down the offer. After Baba Ramdev, it’s TV actress Narayani Shastri who is said to have snubbed <em>Bigg Boss</em>. When contacted, Narayani Shastri simply refused to comment. However, a source close to the actress informs, “It’s true that Narayani was offered <em>Bigg Boss 3</em> but she turned down the offer because she wasn’t comfortable doing such a show.”

Narayani Shastri has been on a break for sometime now. But she is now planning a comeback. In a recent interview she said she did not want any more <em> saas-bahu </em> serials. But now it seems she has changed her mind. “It’s been quite long since I have done any <em> saas-bahu </em> serials and I don’t mind doing it now. The only criteria of taking up such shows will be only if they pay me really well,” says Narayani.

After Say <em> Shaava Shaava</em> on NDTV Imagine, Narayani Shastri is on a sabbatical. She is at home pursuing her hobby and waiting for some meaty role to come her way. But more than that she is learning some salsa. “I’m not exactly on a break but just waiting for a nice role to come my way. Till then I’m at peace at home,” says Narayani.

Simi Garewal is all set to judge a musical entertainer “</em>Say Shaava Shaava</em>” starting January 2008 on NDTV Imagine. Joining her as a co-judge is director and TV host, Karan Johar. Together they will judge the singing capabilities of soap stars<em> Aman Verma, Apurva Agnihotri, Divyanka Tripathi, Juhi Parmar, Mannish Goel, Mouni Roy, Narayani Shastri, Pulkit Samrat </em>and Sumeet Raghvan.

Narayani Shastri replaced Neha Singh in <em> Mamta</em> just a few months ago. But unfortunately with the show being unceremoniously bumped off air, the lady was left scouting for work. And luckily, she has already bagged a lead role in two daily fictional soaps on rival channels.

She was the only one to be retained, but now even she has bid adieu! We are talking about none other than Narayani Shastri. As reported recently by the Tellychakkar.com almost the entire star cast of Sab TV's <em>Twinkle Beauty Parlour</em> was replaced except Narayani. But now, even this sultry actress has left the show, citing date problems, and has now taken up a new project (produced by Times Video) on DD1, <em>Sanskar</em>. This weekly show is slated to be telecast on 9 August.
