Swastik Productions is coming up with a new show for Sony TV, starring Tina Datta in the lead role.

All is not well on the sets of NDTV Imagine and Sunrise Telefilms’ Palkon ki chaon mein. We have heard of actors throwing their weight around but this time it is actors who are allegedly at the receiving end. Rumour has it that the show’s actors are being ill treated by few production personnel in particularly, the supervising producer Akhilesh. It is alleged that seasoned actress Meenaxi Sethi (Teen Bahuraaniyan fame) quit the show due to the ill-treatment meted out by Akhilesh. She is now replaced by Anuradha Adhyaksh, who essayed the role of <em>Badi maa</em> in Raja ki aayegi baraat.

Last week TellyChakkar reported that Sunrise Telefilms was all set to produce a show for NDTV Imagine titled <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/taqdeer/imagine-s-taqdeer>Taqdeer</a>. Now it is reported that the show’s title has been changed from <em>Taqdeer</em> to <em>Palkon Ki Chaon Mein</em>. The show is about two girls of which one is poor and the other is rich.
