Today, 9 November 2012, marks the birthdays of six television celebrities namely Manav Gohil, Shalini Arora, Payal Rohatgi, Malhar Pandya, Pankaj Dheer and Tanvi Azmi. Shares Manav,seen in The Buddy Project on Channel V, “Last night, I partied with the entire team of Buddy Project along with my wife Shweta. She had planned a surprise birthday party for me. Today, I shall go out for a dinner along with my family after wrapping up work. Since morning, I have been getting lots of gifts. It’s my 38th birthday this year and it has been wonderful and an eventful year.”

Pankaj Dheer returns to Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat

After being out of the radar for a couple of months, seasoned actor Pankaj Dheer is back on Star Plus’ Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. After the exit of witches Jhumki-Thumki its celebration time in Shishodia Mahal and the family has re-united. Pankaj has now returned on the show to join his family. Apparently, he was shown going on a pilgrimage in the show. Informed the actor, “Yes, I am back on the show. I don’t know how the story will shape up but I am sure the new track will be even more interesting. My entry will be aired next week.”

BAG films goes international with Pakistani actors

After bringing about a variety of shows on television BAG films is all set to start shooting for a new show titled <em>Yeh Vaada Raha</em> for the overseas viewers. The love story will be aired from early next year on ARY DIGITAL channel, Dubai. <em>Yeh Vaada</em> will be revolving around two lovers Sadia (an NGO activist) played by Pakistani actor Maria Vasti and Salman (son of a leading politician) played by Raj Verma who are torn apart by hatred. Also the hatred shared by their fathers has kept the two families separate for many years.

Pankaj Dheer to play cop in Akela

Pankaj Dheer, the sturdy looking actor is all set to play the head cop in Fireworks' next production on Sony christened <em>Akela</em>. "We chose Pankaj Dheer primarily beacause he can match the personality and charisma of Sudhanshu Pandey. He'll play Sudhanshu's boss and he has to look the part. Infact he's played a cop in some of his films and looked the part! He also has a lot of style! One thing we were adamant about was that we wanted actors who haven't been seen on television for sometime," says supervising producer, CID Yash Patnaik.
