Except Rishta.com, most of the Yash Raj Films shows on Sony have met their end. However, the good news for the followers of those shows is that the producers are all set to launch the new batch of shows later this year. Apparently, they are coming up with a show titled Duty Bound and Bhagya this October and December respectively.

Powder had created some noise when it was launched with four other shows by YRF TV on Sony. Apparently, the show is coming to an end on June 25 with an edge-of-the-seat climax. As pre-decided by YRF, the show would go off air after the completion of 26 episodes.

Unfazed by the dismal show of the first batch of shows, YRF TV is still going ahead with a second round of shows. And one of them is titled Bhagya based on Jeffrey Archer’s book Kane and Abel, and it stars Rahul Bagga and Viraf Patel -- both of whom are in Powder and Mahi Way respectively.

The Hindi film industry’s Big daddy Yash Raj Films recently made its television debut with five new shows on Sony Television. Powder, Mahi Way, Lift Kara De, Seven and Rishta.com were hyped a lot but going by the initial episodes, they seem to have done nothing to stir the viewers.
It has been three weeks since their launch, but the shows have failed to generate viewer interest. The initial ratings have not been very encouraging and looks like they have not succeeded in giving Sony the much-needed shot in the arm.
