Ekta’s blue eyed actress Prachi Desai’s exit from <em> Kasamh Se</em> has left the producer in a dilemma. It seems that Ekta Kapoor has been hunting for the right face to fill in the vacuum created by Prachi. She has assigned actor-writer Bobby Bhonsle with the job of finding the right replacement. Reportedly Bobby has shown Ekta some ten profiles but Ekta didn’t approve of any. Bobby says, “Yes, I have shown her some 10 possible candidates including Miss Nepal and Miss Bangalore but Ekta is unable to find the right face. She wants someone who looks like girl next door.”

She has bagged her first film, <em> Rock On</em>. On her way to stardom, Prachi has had to make some sacrifices. And the biggest is having to quit her serials…atleast until she completes <em> Rock On</em>. The news that has made headlines is that Prachi has quit her mentor Ekta Kapoor’s serial. It is a visibly upset Prachi who spoke to tellychakkar.

There is no denying the fact that Ekta Kapoor is the most powerful personality on Indian television today. It??€�s every actor??€�s dream to start his career with Balaji for all the obvious reasons. And if they fall-out with the High Priestess of TV land then heaven help them. Ekta has her list of loyalists from Prachi Desai to Sakshi Tanwar to Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor.

The favorite<em> bahu</em> of Indian television, Prachi Desai has come out with flying colours on this reality dance show. The youngest contender of the show has walked away with the winning prize in Sony's and Synergy <em> Jhalakh Dikhhla Jaa</em> 2. Last night Prachi brushed aside the stiff challenge from Jay Bhanushali and Sandhya Mridul to win the competition.

But the pretty actress is now gearing up for her maiden film role. She has been signed on by director Farhan Akhtar for a film titled <em> Rock On</em>. The film will be presented by Excel Entertainment.

As if one wasn’t enough, Balaji’s <em> Kasamh Se</em> is set for its second leap within a year. This time all characters have grown older by five years. The leap is bound to bring some new twist to the tale.

At a glittering power packed media gathering Sony Entertainment Television gave us a <em> Jhalak </em>of the thumping 12 stars of <em>Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa </em>II (Dancing with the stars). The reality dance show which rolls out on Sept 28 promises an interesting line-up of celebs from different fields. Jhalak has also roped in three eminent judges in jumping Jack Jeetendra, sexy Urmila and eminent choreographer Shaimak Davar.

The second season of <em> Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa</em> promises a real good celebrity quotient. As the unique reality based dance format show gets ready to roll we spoke to a few of the celebrities who are preparing to put on their dancing shoes.
