Priyamvada who was last seen in <em> Meri Doli Tere Angna</em> and Puneet who was last seen in <em> Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai</em> will be seen in the upcoming episode of the episodic show <em> Shhh...Phir Koi Hai</em>. Both the actors were looking for something different after these shows went off air. Puneet Sachdev had to leave <em> Meri Doli </em> in between as he was unhappy with the way his character was shaping up.

Not long ago, Rahul Bhatt’s daily <em> Meri Doli Teri Angna</em> witnessed a complete overhaul with a change in the entire cast. Fans were very upset with the exit of the leading pair Gaurav Khanna (Ruhaan) and Priyamvada (Simran) and chose to express their disappointment through emails to Tellychakkar. Back then, we brought this to the notice of producer Rahul Bhatt who refused to accede to the public demand of bringing back the duo.

Gaurav Khanna fans who’ve been longing to see him after he exited from <em> Meri Doli Tere Angna</em> will be delighted to learn that the actor will soon return to TV with a new show for a new channel. When contacted, Gaurav had this to say, “I’m doing a new daily show for a new channel. It’s a love story. I play an NRI who returns to India and finds his love interest here. We’ve shot in Gujarat and Mumbai. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal you more information”

In a bid to rake in higher TRPs, Zee’s <em> Meri Doli Tere Angana</em> went for a complete overhaul, replacing the plot and all its actors barring the male protagonist Gaurav Khanna. The lead protagonists Ruhan (Gaurav Khanna) and Simran (Priyamvada) are shot and the latter is declared dead. Surprisingly, all the other characters too were unceremoniously dumped. However, this upheaval hasn’t gone down well with the fans. Some of them have expressed their disappointment through e-mails on our site.

Finding the right new face can be a very daunting task for any production house or a channel. Now after and Bani (Prachi Shah) and Saloni (Rajshri Thakur) Zee has pinned down Priyamvada SS aka Simran as their new lead protagonist for Rahul Bhatt's<em> Meri Doli Tere Angna</em>. Piercing eyes, sharp features, and a very pleasant smile to go with Priya comes across as a simple middle class girl. The archlights haven't changed her,as the peppy lass continues to take the Dombivli local to reach Future Studios in Goregaon for her shoots.
