Though his most expensive show Rani Padmini… did not attract many eyeballs, art director and producer Nitin Chandrakant Desai is not upset at all and has moved on to some more historical characters. The buzz has it that Desai is all set to recreate the Taj Mahal and may also start working on Baji Rao Mastani. The production house is on the look out for suitable faces to play key roles in Taj Mahal.

It's sad but true. Sony entertainment television's most expensive show Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Jouhar has wound up before its time. Initially it was meant to run for 108 episodes but now the show will be pulled off much sooner.

Though Rohit Bakshi is getting trained for sword fights and horse riding sequences it seems that viewers will see his talent only in the end when the judgment battle will take place in Rani Padmini… . But before that there will soon be a sequence where the Rajput king will be trapped by Allauddin Khilji and Padmini will come forward to save him.
