<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/romit-raj-declines-film-television>Romit Raj</a> of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/betiyaan/jasveer-return-betiyaan>Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</a> fame will appear on Zee TV’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/do-saheliyan-shuffles-slots-pushes-ghar-ghar-mein-aapki-antara-stays-put>Ghar Ghar Mein</a> with wife Tina for the first time. The actor claims to have had a lot of fun while shooting for the show and got beaten up by a rolling pin as well.

He created ripples sometime back with the popular soaps Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann and Maayka and now <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/thoda-hai-bas-thode-ki-zaroorat-hai-may-have-wait-thoda-aur>Romit Raj</a> is yet again in the news. When almost all small screen actors are grabbing whatever film they can lay their hands on Romit has turned down an offer for a commercial Bollywood film.

Romit Raaj is on cloud nine. Professionally, he has bagged a new show on Colors and personally, he is all set to tie the knot with Tina Kakkar (who he met three years ago) on March 28. An elated Romit narrates his love story to us, “We met through a common friend three years ago, but after that we were in touch only via mails. It was after three years when I finished my show <em>Perfect Bride</em>, we had a general chat. Then we met each other in Pune where she stays. I was surprised to find we had many things in common. Things were moving fast but Tina is an angel.”

Srishti Arya's yet untitled show will start from Monday, March 1 on Colors in the just-launched Sanjhi Dopahar, the afternoon band. The first promos of the serial have been shot and were supposed to come on air this week itself.

Romit Raj who was last seen hosting Perfect Bride is playing a lead in Rose Movies' untitled show which will air on Colors' afternoon band <em>Sanjhi Dopahar</em>. A source from the show says, "The shooting hasn't yet begun. It's a story of a Maharashtrian family. Neena Kulkarni will play the mother and a known actor Vipul will play the father. Romit will play the lead while Hemant Thatte will be the second lead, Aarti Singh will play his wife and Akangsha, Romit's love interest."

After the female host Megha Gupta, it’s the turn of male host Vishal Malhotra to exit Star Plus’ Perfect Bride. Seems like nothing is going right on the show as Vishal who was introduced as the host of the show amidst much fanfare has been replaced. Stepping into his shoes will be Romit Raj aka Yuvraj of <em>Ghar ki lakshmi betiyann</em>.

After Gunjan Walia and Smriti Mohan yet another prominent face of Betiyann… will quit the show. Romit Raj aka Yuvraj is soon going to exit from the show. A source from the show says, “Romit Raj will be murdered in the show. This track will be a suspense thriller and the mystery of the murder will be solved later. Romit Raj will soon exit from <em>Betiyann…</em> This is the third lead in a span of two months that will be leaving the show. As mentioned earlier his on-screen sisters Gunjan and Smriti have already left the show.

Romit Raj aka Yuvraj of <em>Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> is entering <em>Bidaai</em>. The actor will play himself in the show. Few know that it was Rajan Shahi, the then director of <em>Betiyaan,</em> who got Romit the role of Yuvraj Garodia in the show. Romit who is playing a well-known TV star on the show has come to attend the wedding reception of Sadhana and Alekh. Talking about his role and character, Romit says, “I am going to play myself on the show. It is best moment of my life. This is a big compliment for me as the producer has zeroed down on me to play the character.”

Ganesh Utsav is marked by an emotion so intense that it almost resembles mass hysteria. Though for many it implies spending time with one's family, but for some it's also a time to chill out with friends, visit pandals and gorge on sweets. <strong> Romit Raj</strong> My father and brother are flying down to Mumbai tomorrow.
