Sony Entertainment Television's <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/has-time-shift-negatively-affected-saas-bina-sasural-and-dekha-ek-khwaab"><em>Saas Bina Sasural</em></a> was shifted to 9 pm timeslot recently and apparently, the viewers did not take kindly to this change. The entire Ved, Nitika, Kiya and Jai drama was something which went against the basic light flavor of this Optimystix Entertainment production. The ratings dropped but Sony had attributed this to the change in the slot.

<a href="/news/adhiraj-suhani-bid-adieu-miley-jab-hum-tum">Anupriya Kapoor</a> who was in the news first for backing out from Balaji Telefilms’ Baytaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai and then <em>Miley Jab Hum Tum</em>, is all set to play the protagonist in <em>Ssshh Phir Koi Hai</em>. She will enter from the 15th episode after <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mouni-quits-phir-koi-hai-travel-show>Mouni Roy</a>’s exit. Apparently, Rucha Gujarati, Priya Bathija and Nidhi Seth too were other names under consideration for the lead role.

Chulbuli actress Rucha Gujarati is all set to enter Dheeraj Kumar’s<em> Waqt </em> on Sony. She will be essaying the role of Rudra in the show. As Payal Sarkar the real Rudra is suffering from chicken pox, Rucha will be filling the gap. “Yes, I’ll be essaying the role of Rudra for the time being. I’m planted by the brother and sister- in- law of real Rudra (Payal),” confirms Rucha. She is doing a cameo. “My role will last for one and a half month. There are lots of twists and turns following my entry in the show. I can’t reveal anything further than this,” she chirps.

Rucha Gujarati is on a sabbatical. She is not just enjoying her break but also on the look out for something good. After opting out from her own show <em> Bhabhi </em> on Star Plus, she is busy looking out for a good and meaty role on television as well as in films. “I keep getting offers. I don’t like to ask for work. I take my own time to pick and choose. Currently I’m going through some scripts for television as well as films and hoping that something good turns up soon,” says Rucha. So what is your priority- television or films?

Not many know that the <em>chulbuli</em> and pretty <em> Bhabhi</em>, Rucha Gujarati suffers from a bike phobia. And it was this anxiety disorder that put her in a dilemma recently while shooting for her UTV show, when she was forced to travel by this two wheeler. Narrating the incident Rucha says, "My car broke down at Kandivali while I was driving down from Mira road. I had to report to shoot as soon as possible, so I called up my production people to arrange for another vehicle."

Star Plus viewers are in for a new treat! The cast of the lunchtime topping shows <em>Kumkum </em>and <em>Bhabhi </em>are coming together once again to showcase a special event! However this time it is the<em> Kumkum</em> cast which has been invited on the sets of<em> Bhabhi </em>to be a part of their celebration! The episode will air on 17 August. Alpa, who plays Suhana's (Rucha Gujrathi) sister on the show<em>(Bhabhi)</em> is scheduled to get married to Shubham, Tilak's (Manish Goyal) illegitimate child in the special episode. The<em> Kumkum</em> cast has been invited for the wedding.

Anuj Saxena turned a year younger... celebrated his birthday on 30 July along with his mother. The party was held in a restaurant in suburban Mumbai and to add surprise and spice to the party an announcement was made as the clock struck 12, ( when the cake was cut) that he is venturing into restaurant business and he unveiled the new name of the restaurant Papillon Park as Blue Waters.
