Hansal Mehta’s bio-pic Shahid on the slain lawyer Shahid Azmi has been postponed from February to April .With <em>Kai Po Che</em> doing well its lead actor the talented Rajkumar Yadav who plays the title role in <em>Shahid</em> is suddenly an actor being watched closely.

Filmmaker Hansel Mehta's Shahid will open the first Dharamshala International Film Festival that is due to go underway on 1 November. Ashim Ahluwalia's award-winning film <em>Miss Lovely</em> will be the closing film of the festival that will feature other 26 feature films, documentaries and short films. The four-day festival, the first being organised in Dharamshala by Ritu Sarin and Tenzin Sonam, promises to showcase the best of recent Indian and world cinema, both in fiction and documentary.

Showing his acting prowess with his portrayal of an aged criminal in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur 2, Tigmanshu Dhulia seems to have taken his new-found profession quite seriously. The director of <em>Paan Singh Tomar</em>, has been signed on to play an important character in Hansal Mehta’s new film <em>Shahid</em>. Confirms Dhulia, “Just like Anurag, Hansal is also a friend of mine. And when he offered me the role, I could not say no to him.” In the film, Dhulia will play a lawyer and mentor to Rajkumar Yadav’s character.
