Shakti Anand who shot to fame with Balaji’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is back but this time around he’ll don the evil hat. Shakti has time and again played Mr goody-two-shoes on screen and is thus very excited to bag a negative role in Sony’s <em>Bhaskar Bharti</em>. He will soon be seen in this daily as Armaan’s (Aamir Ali) big brother and with his entry the show will go in for some major twists.

Often in life we are made to do things which we ourselves don't believe in or aren't comfortable with. Actor Shakti Anand, who is not a great believer of astrology, is required to speak about it in his breakfast show <em>'Good morning zindagi'</em> on 9X. Says Shakti, "I don't believe in astrology or in numerology but an actor has to do what's given to him. However, I must confess that there exists a higher power which controls these things."

After Sony's<em> Ek Ladki Anjaani Si</em> was pulled off air Shakti Anand aka Nikhil Samarth went missing. The actor, who rejected lots of offers from the television industry in India and abroad, while he was doing the show, has finally agreed to host a show. "I've earlier done <em> Crime Patrol</em> and now will be doing another show. I can't reveal much about it as everything is in the pipeline. The shooting will commence from November. The concept is very unique and people will love to watch it," says Shakti.

Sony's <em> Ek Ladki</em> is in for some unexpected twists and turns with the entry of Ajay Gehi (Aryan) and Manasi Salvi (Sonam) this month. Sai Deodhar might not have been seen much on the acting circuit for quite a while, but the actor who began her career with <em>Saara Akash</em> and was last seen in <em>Nach Baliye</em> with better half Shakti Anand, is gearing up to start an acting school in Pune, that she's christened Cine E'cole. The actor who has filmmakers for parents(Sharbani and Debu Deodhar) residing in Pune, says she had been toying with the idea of starting the school for quite some time until husband Shakti pushed the family to get the plan materialised.

They may still be at war with each other in <em>Saara Akaash</em>, but in real life, Sai Deodhar and Shakti Anand tied the knot on Sunday at a lavish affair in suburban Mumbai. The celeb fraternity were there in full force, incluidng the likes of Nana Patekar , Sachin, and assorted personalities from the television industry, including the entire cast of <em>Saara Akaash</em>. Apart from the couple's own contacts, the guestlist also included a smattering of dignitaries known to Sai's parents - Deboo and Shravani Deodhar, filmmakers in their own right.

Wedding bells continue to ring in Indian television! It's now Sai Deodhar and Shakti Anand's turn! The duo has decided to tie the nuptial knot. The engagement ceremony is slated for 14 January. The wedding will follow shortly. The two actors have worked together in Miditech's <em>Saara Akaash</em> since the past 30 months. But love seem to have happened, rather, discovered, recently.
