After Sony's Ek Ladki Anjaani Si was pulled off air Shakti Anand aka Nikhil Samarth went missing. The actor, who rejected lots of offers from the television industry in India and abroad, while he was doing the show, has finally agreed to host a show.
"I've earlier done Crime Patrol and now will be doing another show. I can't reveal much about it as everything is in the pipeline. The shooting will commence from November. The concept is very unique and people will love to watch it," says Shakti.
Having been through hosting a show, Shakti is well aware that a lot of sweat goes into getting one's act together. So, what's his take on being a host?
"Hosting a show is easy than acting in a daily soap. The excitement and fun you experience during hosting is unmatched to any other form of entertainment. While hosting, one doesn't have to work for long hours and can be natural in front of the camera," he adds.
The suave actor has just returned from Mauritius and is planning a two week long holiday in Australia. "After working on a daily show for three years, both Sai and I are looking forward to this holiday. It'll be a good break for us," quips Shakti.
