Hunar Hali, who entertained one and all with her challenging lead role in Colors’ Chhal Sheh Aur Maat will soon be back on the small screen. As per reliable sources, the talented actress has been roped in to play the lead in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, to be produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms. News of the charming lad Ruslaan Mumtaaz being finalized to essay the male lead is already out in the media. We now hear that Hunar has been cast opposite him. As per sources, there are two girls in the show, and the second lead will be played by a newbie.

After making his acting debut on the silver screen in Luck By Chance and later playing an impressive role in Shagird, director Anurag Kashyap comes to the small screen with MTV’s new fiction TV series <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mtvs-coolest-new-show-reality-stars-arrives-mumbai-local>Reality Stars – Chaar Doston Ki Crazy Kahani</a></em> (Shakuntalam Telefilms). You have seen him directing others but this time he switches his role to an actor. This is Anurag’s second acting role on television.

The handsome hunk <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/i-took-kaali-i-intend-help-women-my-own-limited-way-arjun-bijlani>Arjun Bijlani</a> has no qualms whatsoever of taking up a show like <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kaali-ek-punar-avatar-end-emotional-high-dev-getting-justice-dead-nimai>Kaali - Ek Punar Avatar</a> on Star Plus (Shakuntalam Telefilms) which talked of a sensitive subject. Now that the show is shutting, Arjun has some added time to prepare for his wedding with long time girl friend Neha Swami. Arjun and Neha are all set to tie the knot in May 2013.

Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms) on Zee TV is all set to witness some celebratory moments with the plot churning out Diwali sequence. Our sources from the sets just informed that currently the entire cast including Gunjan (Roopal Tyagi)-Rachna (Mahima Makwana) and the entire family are shooting for the particular 'diwali' scene. Viewers will get to see them bursting crackers, lit diyas, and indulge in other festivities. Everyone will also get emotional as it is the last Diwali in the maika for coming year the girls will be gone to their respective in laws’ place.

We had reported about Rajesh Shringarpure playing the principal role of the Rakshak with Purva Parag playing his wife. We now hear that Karam Rajpal, who essayed the negative lead in Colors' Parichay, has been roped in to essay the role of Rajesh Shringarpure's son, who is a cop.

The competition element seems to be rising sky high now with major GECs opting for changes in the programming lineup.
