Sony Entertainment Television has not really managed to get the TRP charts ringing with their recent fiction launches, <em>Amita Ka Amit</em> (Swastik Productions), Anamika (Trishula Productions) and <em>Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat</em> (Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd). With all their hopes pinned on <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/slideshow/launch-sony-tvs-chhanchaan>Chhanchhan</a></em> which will get Sanaya Irani back to television, Optimystix has given the channel exactly ‘what the doctor ordered’.

First as the head of Max- the cricket and movie channel from the Sony stable - wherein she innovated on the IPL with her seniors CEO Kunal Dasgupta, COO NP Singh and President Rohit Guptaand her Max team mates and made it a hugely successful televised entertainment property.

Optimystix’s show on Sony Entertainment Television, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/comedy-errors-and-confusion-galore-saas-bina-sasural>Saas Bina Sasural</a> is all set to wrap up in a month’s time. The soap which has been entertaining masses from quite some time now saw a dip in ratings in recent times with the female lead, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/aishwarya-sakhuja-committed-life>Aishwarya Sakhuja</a> aka Toasty, being unwell and staying away from shooting. Aishwarya has been ill and has been struggling to cope with the pressure of shooting.

Earlier today, we put up a story on the possibility of <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/will-kuch-toh-have-new-lead-replacing-mohnish-behl">Mohnish Behl</a> exiting from Sony Entertainment Television's <em>Kuch Toh Log Kahenge</em>. We wrote that a track has been drawn wherein he will breathe his last following an accident, thus bidding adieu to the show.

Media speculation regarding the time slot of Sony Entertainment’s new show <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shubh-vivah-another-south-remake-tv/"> <em>Shubh Vivah</em></a> produced by UTV can now rest. Credible sources have informed Tellychakkar.com that the soap – starring Eijaz Khan, Rakesh Bedi, Vinny Arora, Vinay Rohrra, Neha Janpandit – is all set to hit the screens at the 8pm slot. Furthermore, it has also been reported that the serial will go on air from 27 February 2012.
