Veteran Gujarati theatre actress, Sujata Mehta who plays Nimmo's mother in Star One's Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka is not visible in the current tracks of the show. We inquired with this beautiful lady who was just back from a 11 day pilgrimage to Amarnath.

We last saw him in Bhabhi on Star Plus, and that too in 2001! And now after a long hiatus, actor Joy Sen Gupta has taken up Balaji's prime time show, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka (Star One). This is Joy's maiden opportunity of working with the powerhouse, Balaji Productions. He will be essaying the character of Ashutosh in Kya Hoga …. "Balaji is the best paymaster and their production values are on par with a film. They are very professional and fast paced," says Joy. "I have been avoiding daily soaps for quite some time, but for a change I took up this offer," he adds.

Neeti Mohan of Aasma fame is one heluva versatile lady! She's not only a trained singer but a trained contemporary dancer (read Jazz,Ballet and Bharatnatyam) as well and is readying to become an actor. Neeti is taking acting classes from Anupam Kher's acting institute called The Actor Prepares (in Juhu, suburban Mumbai) along with her kid sister Mukti Mohan.

Kiran Dubey has two names. The actor's school friends call her Smita, while the rest of her friends and folks at home prefer to call her Kiran. Interestingly, her parents wanted to name her Milan before she was born, but chose to call her Kiran later.

Amit Khanna the naughty Veer in Star One's Yeh Dil Chahe More has been burning the mid night oil of late. No the actor was not only busy shooting for his show which has moved from road to home(from shooting in the lorry to back to the family) but he has simultaneously been preparing for his first year, second semester MBA examinations. The actor is doing his part-time post graduation from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Technology in Mumbai.

Well, the pretty young lead of Star One's, Kya Hoga...has a very...uh... interesting (used strictly for a lack of another adjective!) nickname down South -- vanilla! And no, the lady's not fond of vanilla ice cream! We asked the actor to explain the logic behind her nickname and the lady just laughed it away! "Vanilla means moonlight. They probably call me Vanilla because they could see the moonlight in me," laughs Sanjeeda. Uh! <strong>Chetan mops it up!</strong>

Chandana Sharma, the pretty lass from Star One's Yeh Dil Chahe More, is busy shooting back to back for the show with hardly any time for herself. Just when we were wondering if the girl does have any time at all to stand and stare, she gushes, "My sister has come down from Kolkata for a month with her three month old baby. I have a hectic schedule but love to get back home to spend time with them," smiles Chandana who is open to the idea of hosting a show but wants to stay away from any more daily soaps.

Telly Stars are more to be seen doing concerts and hosting shows now a days. Gaurav Gera better known as Nandu will soon be seen hosting the Femina Miss India curtain raiser. Gaurav is currently doing Sony's Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and also The Great Indian Comedy Show on Star One. Kanchi Kaul, the Kashmiri dame who will most probably host the Femina Miss India says, "They had offered me to host the event. But I haven't called them back; most probably I will be doing it." Great way to earn extra bucks, we say! <strong>Chandana's Dil Chahe More! </strong>

Tassnim is taking her current assignment very seriously! The actor, who will be co hosting Star One's new show, Jet Set Go is really excited about this game show where she will compete with the other hosts to convince viewers to take a trip in record time! Ask her what her plan of action will be, and the lady refuses to divulge any details. "I won't let out any secrets...how can I give you my plan?" giggles the actor. <strong>Krissh's dilemma!</strong>

Pawan Shankar who made a mark for himself with the character of charismatic lawyer, Siddhanth on Star One, is back with another show on the same channel -- albeit for a single story. The actor will be seen in Darna Mana Hai, and accompanying him will be Shama Sikander. Sources tell us that Pawan's character in this show ill be different from Siddhanth and the twist is that viewers wil not know if his character is negative or positive till the final episode.
