Item numbers are the rage on big screen and of late this 'item' bug has bitten its younger sister too. Television serials are catching up with this run and are hugely incorporating it in its scripts. As if the bollywood magnitude grandeur was not enough, telly has now taken to hot and racy numbers. And none other than the telly's sexiest babes help the item number pull through the serial.

Star Parivaar Awards has ended with galore and fun. Most actors could be a part of the gala nite except for the little lady who won the 'Best Nanand (sister-in-law) award'.
Ritu Choudhary who plays Shobha in Kyunki... has been confined to her bed since three weeks. She has a back ailment. "One day, I was getting out from my car and couldn't walk any further. I consulted my doctor only to realise that something has gone wrong in the muscle in my back," explains Ritu, flashing her soft smile.

Theirs is a world of their own…shining in all their screen glory. The Star Parivaar Awards were an exhibition of all the glitz and glamour of a world that makes stars out of commoners. This is an award given not for personal excellence, but for being part of a team, yet standing out amongst them!
These are characters that make us laugh and cry, characters that evoke our sympathy and anger --- and they will never forget last Friday as the night that made them part of the Star Parivaar.

Perhaps this shouldn't come as a surprise, considering the massive fan following they command - Karan and Nandini, the now-on, now-off couple on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, are leading in the stakes for the favourite jodi (couple) honours in the forthcoming Star Parivaar awards.
Nandini beats channel counterparts Kumkum of Kumkum and Prerna of Kasautii Zindagi Kay, leaving them far behind in the favourite patni (wife) category too!
