Two Marathi writers have accused that the story of Netflix's new horror thriller series Betaal has been lifted from their script Vetaal.

Bombay High Court dismisses a copyright infringement plea against Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment seeking to hold horror series Betaal's May 24 worldwide release.

Betall is all set for release on May 24. Actor Viineet Kumar spills about his character and the series.

Starring Viineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra, Betaal is written and directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Blumhouse Productions have bankrolled it.
