At a time when actor Bhaktiar Irani is contemplating marriage to lady love Tanaaaz Lal, he has been signed on to play Rahul, a fashion designer in UTV's next production on Star One, <em>Arranged Marriage</em>. <em>Arranged Marriage</em> is a special show, because it brings powerhouse performer couple Rajeshwari Sachdev and Varun Badola together for the first time on screen after Phir Se, the telefilm on SaharaOne, during the filming of which they decided to tie the knot.

It's now time for the audience to see a new Bhabhi on Star Plus' <em>Bhabhi</em>. No, it isn't a replacement for Dolly Sohi but a twist instead, to keep the track running after Dolly quit the show for marital bliss in CanadaThe show will now be revolving around Rucha Gujarati who plays Saroj's daughter. "I am certainly going to take over my mother's position in the show. I will take her place as I too have inherited the same ethics and values from her. As I get married to Vishu Chopra, we two will be the leads now," says an excited Rucha.

star-crossed lovers, Saroj and Tilak, who have been apart from each other for more than twenty years, will finally unite and this will happen against the backdrop of a wedding, where Saroj's adopted daughter will get married to her son! Saroj is now leading a different life with another family where her adopted daughter from Vivek Seth is going to get married to her son from Tilak. It's official. Star Plus' afternoon soap <em>Bhabhi</em> will take a 20 year leap, and producers UTV have brought in a new band of freshers to help keep the serial afloat. The serial will go into fast forward mode on 2 June, with the introduction of Puneet Sachdev and Mohit Raina who will play the male leads - Vishv and Shubham.
