Behzaad Khan, the actor who is currently essaying the character of Noor Khan in Colors’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/high-dose-drama-veer-shivaji-post-leap>Veer Shivaji</a>, has been part of family dramas like Imagine’s <em>Looteri Dulhan</em> and Colors’ <em>Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai</em>. <em>Veer Shivaji</em> is his first historical show and he is enjoying being part of it.

Media has already reported that Amol Kolhe will be playing the protagonist and now we have more names. Yuri Suri, who played Behram Khan in Jodha Akbar, will do a special cameo as Adil Shahi in the introductory episode of Shivaji. Manoj Verma, who last seen as Gaus Khan of <em>Jhansi Ki Rani</em> will play Fateh Khan. Ritesh Mobh will play the elder Sambhaji and Amit Pachori will play Netaji Palkar in this historigical saga.

Now, here is some serious news. So, do pay attention. Costume designer Neerushaa Nikhat’s studio in Goregaon got robbed today early morning (13 February 2012). For information, Neerushaa is designing clothes for renowned shows on television, namely, <em>Mahadev </em> (Life OK) and <em>Veer Shivaji</em> (Colors), <em>Kuch To Log Kahenge</em> (Sony Entertainment), Rajan Shahi’s upcoming show <em>Jamuna Paar</em> on Imagine, amongst others. She recently won awards for her costumes in <em>Prithviraj Chauhan</em> (Star Plus) and <em>Jhansi Ki Rani</em> (Zee TV).

He runs the production house Contiloe Telefilms (along with his beautiful belle Rupali Singh) and has been crafting TV shows for quite some time now. Currently, the man is fighting impressively in the battle of TRPs with his two offerings, namely <em>Adaalat</em> on Sony Entertainment and <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/laagi-afternoon-slot-veer-shivaji-be-aired-five-days-week>Veer Shivaji</a></em> on Colors.

Incidentally, the actor had been on a hiatus due to health issues after shooting for the first two episodes of the show.
