Remember Mohammad Irfan? The soulful singer from Voice of India? The soft-spoken singer is wearing a smile these days. Why? His song Behne de, which he sang along with Karthik for Mani Ratnam's Ravaan has become a chartbuster and that is no mean achievement.

Toshi Sabri of Voice of India fame was rushed to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday, after he was attacked by four unknown persons. According to a news channel, the singer from Jaipur suffered injuries on his head after being hit by a hammer.
The occasion was Star Voice of India and it was only befitting that stars and legends graced the occasion. For the first time ever, the Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar appeared on a reality show on Indian television. It was a double whammy as Bollywood’s ‘dhak dhak’ girl Madhuri Dixit too made her maiden reality show appearance at the grand finale.
The musical reality shows are a hit with masses but they are now appealing to the soap makers too. Inspired by Voice of India,Aek Chabi Hai Pados Main on Star Plus have come out with their own version called Voice of Colonel Ganj. The cast and crew members of Aek Chabi… were in for a pleasant surprise recently when Voice of India contestants visited the sets as well.
Oftentimes, when the judges on Star's Voice of India have emotional tiffs on the show, the long haired bubbly Shaan plays the sutradhar. Flashing his 100 watts smile, the cute anchor says, "all along, my smile has always been a cover up for all kinds of uncomfortable situations. Years back, when I started anchoring Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, it was a real tough job. I couldn't even say a single line; even then it was my smile which saved me."
