Ye Meri Life Hai
Best remembered for her portrayal of a feisty, headstrong young teacher in N Chandra's <em>Pratighaat</em>, Sujata Mehta is geared to make a comeback on television after an year long hiatus in Star One's <em>Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka</em> that goes on air from 20 March.
Sujata plays Nimmo's mother, who's a fashion designer by profession. She aspires to be a page 3 socialite and the story revolves around the trials and tribulations of her family, that comprises her husband and three daughters.

Indian television's favourite Gujju beti might finally bid audiences adieu come this November!
With a slew of new shows all ready to launch on Sony, <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em> might be shown the door sooner rather than later.
Our sources tell us that the show might be relegated to a nondescript, 7:30 pm slot beacuse of the shows that have been woven around <em>Indian Idol</em>, which is round the corner.

Actress Sheetal Thakkar was robbed and not by petty thieves, but by cops last evening!
Sheetal, who quit Sony's <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em> recently, had parked her car in the parking area adjacent to JJ Hospital, came back in an hour to find that it was missing.

Shamma Sikander is one lucky girl when it comes to having surprises from her friends. The leading lady of <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em>, who celebrates her birthday today, is anxious about being taken in by surprise at the hands of her friends, yet again. "My friends give me out of the blue bolt surprises each year on my birthday, but each time I find out that they are planning something. This time again I know that something is up so I'm anticipating." she quips.

Move over rusty old family dramas, Sony's <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em> is in for a punch of Gen-ex spunk, more like a shot of adrenalin in the arm. The show which started off as a new-age youth based show, had gotten itself tangled into a mess of family drama- ala the other saas- bahu operas.

Gayatri is a melancholy lady in Star Plus' tearjerker, <em>Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki</em>, so sad and let down that the lady has decided to take a break!
Pregnant with Sameer's child, Gayatri, the only vamp with a career that can be spoken about, on Indian television, is ready to take a hiatus from next month. Rupali Ganguli, who plays the distraught character in the show, will be shown either having a miscarriage or an accident that will enable the character to move out with ease!

She hasn't been around in Sony's <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em> for quite some time now, but Sony has compensated her with another show from their stable.
Maninee will now be seen in <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em> produced by Optimystix.Says Maninee, "My character's name is Bubbles. It's a Panju girl who is a bit over the top, very lively and chirpy. Bubbles will be from Ludhiana. She goes to London and then comes to Mumbai."

Remember the guy who shook his leg on the hugely popular number, <em>Hawa Hawa</em>, from the movie, <em>Don2</em>? After a year long hiatus, Jeet Upendra is back with a bang in Sony's <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em>.
"Yes I am back, I will play a lawyer in Ye…who will try to strategise Ronit's (the lead chracter in <em>Yeh</em>...) revenge. It's an interesting character," says a visibly excited Jeet.
